How to Join SCI
Joining SCI is very easy. There are two ways to join, by postal mail, or online using PayPal®.
By Mail
Individuals wishing to join SCI by postal mail should download the Membership Application (PDF), complete the form, and enclose a check for the correct amount. Use the membership form if you are joining SCI for yourself or an institution. You may also use this form if you are renewing your current membership although a form is unnecessary if your contact infomation remains the same.

Checks and money orders must be drawn in U.S. funds on a prime U.S. bank and made payable to The Society of Composers, Inc.
Online
Instantly use Paypal® to become an SCI member. Individuals using this method do not need to download the application form. Please note that a $2 service charge will apply when using this option.
Paypal® is a secure and convenient way to purchase goods online. You don't need to have an existing Paypal® account -- You may pay immediately via credit card! If you experience any difficulties, please contact Gerald Warfield.
Important Notes about Joining Online
- If using Paypal® to purchase your membership, please know it may take a 1-2 days for us to process your membership completely. If you have any questions, please contact Gerald Warfield.
- Renewing Online: If you are using an email address for Paypal® that is different from the email address you use for SCI, please indicate this in the comments field.
- New Members: If you are using a mailing address for Paypal® that is different from the mailing address you wish to use for SCI, please indicate this in the comments field.
- Student Chapter Members: Please indicate the student chapter name and university with which you are affiliated in the comments field.
